MDHS Program Integrity — SNAP Fraud Case Management System
Software Engineer
2016 — 2018
Key Achievements
- Led the migration of the legacy Spring/Hibernate monolith to Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA module by module (staff, counties, households, merchants, transactions, tips) without freezing feature work.
- Designed a Strategy-based search layer so the same pages run on Solr or on direct SQL via one config flag. Implemented the audit trail on Hibernate Envers with per-user revision tracking, plus i18n for domain enums.
- Modelled the investigation pipeline (tip → claim → hearing) with generated letters, an auto-filled PDF admission form and document uploads.
- Introduced versioned database migrations with Liquibase and email notifications through a queued SendGrid / SES sender.

Need an engineer with experience in fraud investigation case management systems?
I led the module-by-module migration of the legacy application while feature work continued, and designed flexible search and per-user audit tracking. I also modelled the investigation workflow, including generated letters, PDF forms and document uploads. If your product needs the same skills, write to me — a few lines about the task are enough — or look through my CV first.
